As a grower-based company, MTEX made a strategic decision to be in the Potato business. Throughout the process from planting, harvesting, packing and shipping MTEX is maintaining full diligence and all customer requirements are being met. MTEX was the first to achieve Eurepgap accreditation and also has the BRC and ISO 9000 accreditations.
Our season starts in December and contiues through till June.
The export varieties we grow are: Baby/Salad: Nicola, Ditta, Charlotte, Maris Peer, Marabel, Exquisa - from Decembaer till March. General Ware: Vivaldi, Mondial, Sponta, Lieseta, Valor, Rosana - from February till June. Dessiree - from March till June. Marfona, King Edward - from May (end) till June. Bakers: Valor, Cara, Maris Piper - from February till June.
