Although known as “nature’s candy,” the date is healthy to eat with high dietary fiber, low in calories and no sodium and cholesterol. Known for their rich sweetness and high juice content, Medjoul dates are grown in Israel’s Jordan Valley and Arava area. The fruits are soft, large and range in color from golden brown through to dark brown.
